Supervisors and managers often do not have the information or understanding for effectively communicating the business needs to the employee in a proactive manner. To be effective, information must be discussed regularly at the point of impact with the opportunity for meaningful discussion.
Positive Employee Relations Procedure
DESCRIPTION:
This interpersonal skills development program is intended for managers and supervisors to improve uniform and effective managerial behavior in the handling of organizational work performance and work habits. It is a hands-on/how-to skills and confidence-building activity.
PHILOSOPHY:
This program consists of modular learning units. The major objective is the transference of practical, effective techniques for handling one-to-one employee/supervisor and supervisor/manager situations with the supervisor's manager playing a key role in the total learning experience.
